    Industrial Roof Mounted Cold Storage Room Evaporator


    An air cooler is a type of evaporator used in cold storage. Its function is to vaporize the low-temperature and low-pressure saturated refrigerant that will be used as a thermal expansion valve in the cold storage through heat exchange between the evaporator and the cooled medium, and to remove heat from the cold storage. The evaporator in the cold storage is mainly composed of five important components, including cooling and heat exchange exhaust pipes, axial flow fans, liquid separators, frost storage devices, and water trays. The high-pressure and normal temperature liquid refrigerant from the condenser of the cold storage is throttled by the thermal expansion valve and directly enters the liquid separator of the cold storage fan for uniform liquid separation. It is then sent to the heat exchange pipe for gasification and heat absorption. The axial flow fan of the evaporator of the cold storage is responsible for Forced convection circulation of the evaporator of the cold storage and the air in the cold storage to achieve the purpose of cold storage refrigeration.


    Due to the temperature on the surface of the evaporator in the cold storage being lower than 0 ℃, frost layers will appear on the outer surface of the cold storage fan as the cooling time increases. The formation of these frost layers not only seriously affects the heat transfer coefficient of the cold storage fan, but also leads to a significant reduction in the circulating air volume of the cold storage fan. This will seriously affect the heat exchange of the evaporator in the cold storage, resulting in a serious decline in the operational performance of the cold storage equipment. In order to ensure good heat exchange performance of the cold storage fan, it is necessary to defrost the cold storage fan. The most common defrosting method for cold storage air coolers is electric defrosting. Electric defrosting has many advantages such as thorough defrosting and automatic control, which has been widely used in small cold storage, pharmaceutical cold storage, and vegetable cold storage projects.


    The shell of a evaporator is generally made of spray molded iron plate, food grade stainless steel plate, or embossed aluminum plate. The evaporator has many advantages such as large heat exchange, convenience and simplicity, high anti-corrosion, and beautiful appearance. The heat exchange coil of the evaporator generally uses internal threaded heat exchange copper pipes, which are tightly contacted with aluminum fins through a hydraulic expansion machine, thereby reducing the contact distance and improving the heat exchange coefficient.


    After the production of the evaporator, it undergoes a strict decontamination process to ensure the cleanliness of the quality system. The evaporator adopts high-efficiency external rotor motors, which have the advantages of large air volume, high wind speed, and long service life. The evaporator should be able to install explosion-proof motors according to different needs.
